Membership Meetings
Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of the month. Please try to attend & offer your voice & ideas. This is your club! Meet your fellow enthusiasts.

- Remember each member is required to sell at least 2 tickets. Please return unsold tickets in a timely manner so all tickets can be sold by Oct. 17th.
Membership
- Current Membership is at 187 as of mid September
- Paid membership dues are slow in returning
- Dues are due by October 2011
- We need everyone’s support to keep our club viable.
What's happening @ your club?
Chicken BBQ
The club is sponsoring a Chicken BBQ on Sunday Oct. 23rd (Bill’s bi week) from 12 noon to 5pm at the club. Tickets are $9 each, presale only. Eat-in or take-out. For more information and tickets contact Tim Greene at 445-1500 or Mike Brown at 548-4940. Mark your calendar and support your club.
Elections
There are three board seats up for re-election this year. Nominations will be held at the Sept. 19th meeting. Please consider serving your club.
Trap League
Fall Trap League began Sunday, August 7th. 16 Yard Only and 16 Yard + Handicap. Sign up Thursday 6:00- 8:00 and Sunday 9:00-Noon.
Winter Pistol League
Starts Thurs., Sept. 29th. See below from Cliff.
Open Shooting
Tuesday nights; doors open @ 7pm. $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Bring a friend.
Air Pistol
Starting late fall, call Betty Dobson, 648-2205
900 Matches
Starts Wed., Aug 24, 2011 and runs till Sept. 28, 2011, $5.00 per match, starts at 7 pm sharp, more info call Jim Bugenhagen at 200-3466.
Young Guns
Starts Sept. 12th and then meets on the first Monday of the month.
Suburban League
Starts Wed., Oct. 5th New shooters always welcome. For more information contact Jim Bugenhagen 992-3094.
Free Pistol
4th Monday of month - start time 7:00 pm. Call for start dates.
- 60 shots for score but time is given for sighter shot
- Any 22 LR is allowe
- Any questions in regards to Air Pistol or Free Pistol see Betty or Jerry Dobson or call 648-2205 or 867-4814 for more information
Furnaces
We are in the process of replacing the furnaces. Anticipated cost is around $6700. Materials are being purchased at cost and volunteers from the club are doing the installation. The previous furnaces were old and inefficient. We anticipate a 30% reduction in fuel cost. The trap league has agreed to loan approximately half of the money if needed. Please support our fund raisers for building maintenance.

2011 Fall Pistol League
Dear Pistol Shooters,
I am planning on starting the fall league on September 29th, 2011 with the first relay beginning at 6pm, a second starting at 7pm and a third relay starting at 8pm.
Tuesday will be open shooting only with Thursday reserved for league shooting.
Each week two national matches per relay will be shot for score at the 25 yard line. You can shoot one gun (22 cal.) or two guns (22 cal. and C.F.) for a score each week.

Banquet Time Is Here!

It will soon be October and that means SCOPE Banquet time. Mary Jo Picone and her committee have been working hard to put on another memorable banquet on October 7th at:

This year we will be honoring Senator Mike Nozzolio and this years Featured Speaker is Larry Pratt Executive Director, GOA Mary Jo has assured us of some great prizes and door prizes for our bag auction. We also have a Five Gun Raffle for a Donation $2.00 per Ticket or $10 for six tickets.
